Along a quiet west London mews is Cloud Twelve, a chic wellness centre with a crèche on the ground floor and a grown-up health haven upstairs. Its spa offers private sound-immersion sessions for a length of time suiting you — anything from 10 minutes to an hour — with free access to the sauna, steam room and detoxifying salt room tacked on. Here, sound bathers lie on a towel-lined heated bed filled with rose quartz, made to resemble the sensation of hot sand on a beach. Tibetan bowls teeter on the edges of the bed, crowning your head and skirting your feet, with one poised on your stomach.
